Hij studeerde filosofie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en journalistiek aan de hogeschool Windesheim in Zwolle.

Eric van de Beek is a freelance journalist.  He studied journalism at Windesheim University and philosophy at the University of Amsterdam.  For years he worked as a journalist for Dutch leading weekly Elsevier. In recent years he contributed to Diplomat Magazine, Novini, Sputnik, Gezond Verstand, Uitpers and De Andere Krant.   He was the first Dutch journalist to write about the support of The Netherlands to terror groups in Syria, OPCW’s coverup of the fake gas attack in Douma (Syria) and the Magnitsky scam. Van de Beek published books about the downing of Flight MH17 and disinformation in the Dutch mass media.

Als eerste journalist schreef Van de Beek over de steun van het kabinet aan terreurgroepen in Syrië, de doofpotaffaire rond de nepgifgasaanval in Douma (Syrië) en het bedrog achter de Amerikaanse en Europese Magnitski-wetgeving. Van de Beek publiceerde boeken over de MH17-ramp en nepnieuws in de massamedia.
