Eric van de Beek is an investigative journalist. He studied journalism at Windesheim University and philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. For years he worked as a journalist for Dutch leading weekly Elsevier. In recent years he contributed to Diplomat Magazine, Novini, Sputnik, Gezond Verstand, Uitpers. Het currently writes for Dutch weekly De Andere Krant.
In 2024 a new book of Van de Beek will be published about the MH17 plane crash in Ukraine. On Substack you can read his English language blog about the subject.
Eric van de Beek is onderzoeksjournalist. Hij studeerde journalistiek aan Hogeschool Windesheim en filosofie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. En werkte jarenlang in vaste dienst bij Elsevier. De laatste jaren leverde hij als vrije journalist bijdragen aan onder meer Diplomat Magazine, Novini, Sputnik, Gezond Verstand en Uitpers . Hij schrijft nu wekelijks voor De Andere krant en werkt aan een tweede boek over de MH17-ramp dat in 2024 uitkomt.
